At the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology which place in Miami this month, Dr. Kauvar lectured on the use of photodynamic therapy for skin rejuvenation, laser treatment of pigmented lesions and tattoos, and presented a paper on nonablative fractional lasers for skin resurfacing. She was also honored at the meeting for her work as Chair of the Communications Council for the past five years.
